Digital Marketing Manager (part-time)

If you live and breathe digital marketing, we want to talk to you. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to develop, implement, track and optimise our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels, as well as lead some offline activity such as occasional print advertising and events. The role will be part time, approximately 15 hrs per week.

About you

You should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. The Digital marketing manager will work with the Partners, the web development team, designers, a copywriter, and vendors to launch campaigns on time and on budget. You should have a general understanding of print advertising and great organisational skills. The role covers both B2C and B2B, so experience in both within a finance or similar field would be ideal.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimise user experience
  • Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Optimize user funnels
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Requirements

  • University degree in marketing or a related field
  • Proven experience in digital marketing manager role for 2 + years
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and convert
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B testing and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google and Facebook Analytics)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing and monitoring Google Adwords campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • General understanding of more traditional marketing channels in particular print advertising specifications to support the digital activity

Marketing Executive – Casual

Are you a marketing savvy professional looking to use your skills in a new and exciting role?  We are on the hunt for a highly organised and strategy-focussed Marketing Executive to join our Sydney team.

Dexterous is a small but growing innovative professional services company providing bookkeeping, accounting and tax advice services to start-ups and small business clients.  Using cloud-based technology and a global workforce, we help clients grow their business by taking care of their accounting needs.

As the company’s ‘go-to’ marketing person, you will be responsible for planning and implementing marketing, communication and brand activities to achieve Dexterous’ business objectives and targets. You will not only be someone who can execute and deliver effective marketing campaigns but also able to think outside of the box and bring to the table creative ideas to build brand equity and generate leads.

This is a broad role which would suit a strong project manager with experience in integrated marketing initiatives such as digital marketing (ie. content/social media/email marketing), traditional marketing, website management, advertising and brand development.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • at least 4-5 years’ experience in marketing, particularly B2B marketing
  • tertiary qualifications in marketing or a related field
  • experience across the various marketing platforms, especially in the digital space
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • high attention to detail
  • experience in database management
  • an ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
  • Can do attitude
  • experience working with start-ups preferred but not essential
  • knowledge of the accounting industry would be advantageous

The successful candidate will establish and have ownership of the marketing function with a direct report to the Directors.
